Hi, my name is Francis Fitzgerald, and I’m delighted to welcome you to the Young at Heart ❤️ Syndicate website in my new role as Marketing, and Syndicate Manager here at Paul Young’s successful kennel in Wickford.
As the kennel has grown from strength to strength, the demands on Paul’s time have also increased. To ensure we continue to provide the very best service to our owners, it has been decided that Paul and Miriam will focus entirely on what they do best – training and caring for our greyhounds to the highest standards.
Meanwhile, I’ll be taking on the responsibility of managing shares in our racing greyhounds, making it easier for current and future owners to get involved. I’ll also be available to answer any questions, whether over the phone, at the kennel, or in person at Romford Stadium.

After paying the initial share price, which covers the purchase of the greyhound, and the rehoming bond, this is set at a very reasonable price to attract new owners into greyhound racing, and the kennel.
A 5% share in a greyhound will cost 63p per day plus VAT.
SO IN A 31 DAY MONTH, THAT WOULD COST
£23.45
The maximum amount you would have to pay if your dog did not run.
But with the expected 4 runs a month, at A7 grade earning £220, this would reduce your bill for a 5% share by £11, so your average monthly bill would come to
£12.45
And even less when your dog wins
